What you can do

• Co-design and co-develop the new data platform in the Azure Cloud
• Create data models according to the requirements and data analytics use cases
• Organise and structure data sets with the help of various modern cloud and big data solutions
• Connect data sources and develop transformation and data integration workflows
• Closely collaborate in an agile environment with responsibility for specific topics such as EDW, data lakes and data architecture

What you have to offer

• Technical college/university degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
• Proven experience with cloud solutions (ideally in the Azure Cloud with Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, Event Hub and Azure DevOps)
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, data storage and data access techniques with experience in big data architectures and integration models
• Excellent programming skills in Python, Java or Scala and SQL
• Proven work experience with decentralised systems and mastery of tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Flink and Apache Beam
• German or French and a good command of English are required
